De Emmy Awards zijn Amerikaanse prijzen voor buitengewone prestaties in de televisie-industrie. Er zijn drie organisaties die de Emmy Awards organiseren: The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (prime time), The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (daytime, sports, news and documentary) en The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (international).
Nederlandse personen en producties komen over het algemeen alleen in aanmerking voor de International Emmy Awards. Er worden prijzen uitgereikt voor verschillende categorieën.
